Description
This drawing nearly killed me!! I am sorry you guys that the only thing that's beyond sketch-stage is his face. I've been changing everything else in it forever, to the point where I felt my sanity slipping away from me. I can't look at this or work on it any longer, so I'm calling it quits. I promise, the next time I spend 34 days on a drawing, it's going to be much more thorough. I hate it when artists diss their own work, so I'll spare you from hearing me do that, but this drawing has been so difficult it's not even funny. I feel like a broken artist because of it. 
I can't remember the last time I failed at a drawing!! I'll do better next time.

I really like the general mood of this, and I like the detail of the face. The colors aren't bad. You really really shouldn't beat yourself up over the unfinished quality of the work; one can't always dramatically succeed, after all...
Overall, though it's indeed quite incomplete, there are certainly great points to it and you certainly shouldn't be too worried if this is the worst you can do.
